Updated Service Catalog Available

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is excited to announce the publication of the upgraded OIT Service Catalog.

Over the past year, OIT has worked closely with departments across the State to perform an in-depth, comprehensive analysis of IT services.  The assessment focused on enterprise-wide services as well as the line of business specific services unique to each department.  This evaluation has provided for the creation of an updated OIT Service Catalog that brings more clarity and structure to the services provided by OIT.

What specifically has changed?

The upgraded OIT Service Catalog clarifies the services provided by OIT and delineates these offerings from Department specific services.  To accomplish this, the new Service Catalog includes:

    • Detailed descriptions of the enterprise services provided by OIT, including specific details of each catalog item, and in some cases, services that are excluded due to department specific needs (remote locations, unique hardware and/or software, etc.).

    • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that will be used to measure performance to support improved service levels.

Where is the new OIT Service Catalog located?

The new OIT Service Catalog can be accessed from the OIT home page, at oit.alaska.gov/home.  To go to the catalog directly click the link: Service Catalog, Office of Information Technology, State of Alaska, oit.alaska.gov/home/service-catalog.

Simply click on ‘Learn More’ for the desired service, and available options will be presented to you.
