MS Teams
Microsoft Teams provides access to chat, calendar, file sharing, Word/Excel/PowerPoint editing, audio & video conference, and desktop sharing without VPN. Teams also offers a free smart phone and tablet app (located in your device app store), and can be installed on a work or home computer (local administrator rights not required to install). To work remotely, Teams requires a copy of your existing work files. These can be copied into a Teams site in advance from your work computer, or accessed remotely through OneDrive, a State of Alaska thumb drive, or by e-mailing files to yourself.
Note: Departments have limited Teams functionality in some rural offices.
